The annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers is May 13, 2023. On this day, hundreds of donated non-perishable food items are collected by letter carriers from residents in our community. The food is donated to local food pantries. In our town, these go to the Orange Park Clothes Closet & Food Pantry. Our church supports this and a number of church members volunteer at the Clothes Closet regularly.

You can help on Saturday, May 13 in the following ways if you desire:

• Donate food by placing items in a plastic bag on your mailbox.

• If you have a pickup truck, meet at the US Post Office on Kingsley Avenue near our church to load donations and transport them to the Clothes Closet.

• Unload the trucks at the Clothes Closet

• Sort food at the Clothes Closet

• Stock Shelves at the Clothes Closet

Times are flexible for volunteers within the following windows:

• 1:30pm - 3pm at the Post Office with trucks

• 2pm - 7pm at the Clothes Closet (any amount of time within this appreciated.)
